Academic closure

Along with the teaching faculty of all central universities in the country, Nagaland University Teacher’s Association (NUTA) of all NU campuses will observe total academic closure on August 7 per the directive of the Federation of Central University Teachers’ Association (FEDCUTA). CEC, NUTA, in a press release said the closure was in protest against the failure of the UGC Sixth Pay Review Committee to submit its report before the July 31, 2008, as demanded by FEDCUTA.
