BCJ annual music fest

A person is best described by the music he listens to, said Dr. Kokehebi Gwirie.
Speaking at the annual Music Fest of the Baptist Church Jotsoma Youth Department on Sunday as speaker, Dr. Gwirie said ones’ lifestyle is reflected through the music one listens to, as music is connected to the heart.
He exhorted the youth to choose one’s music wisely to live a life pleasing to God.
Earlier, in the choir competition Krotho, Kepele and Petsokeshü committee bagged the first, second and third place respectively. In the solo category Neisevo-ü (Zhapu), Sebuno (Petsokeshü) and Vizono (Krotho) were placed first, second and third.
Krotho won in the trio category followed by Khenu and Petsokeshü while in the double quartet category Krotho, Petsokeshü and Khenu were placed first, second and third respectively.
The best discipline committee was bagged by Zhapu committee while the award for the best conductor went to Viko (Petsokeshü).
Highlights of the programme included scriptural reading by Vilhouneino Nakhro who also offered invocation while Kekhriezeto Nagi youth director chaired the programme.
