The first annual magazine of City Law College (CLC) “Rule of Law” was released by Principal Judge of the Family Court Dimapur, Khesheli Chishi here on Friday. In her speech, she congratulated the managing board of directors, the editorial board, the principal, and the faculty members for their dedicated efforts in bringing out the magazine.
Reflecting on the college’s foundation, Khesheli recalled the struggles and perseverance of its pioneers and highlighted that the profession of justice was not only noble and honorable but required a lifelong commitment to integrity and truth.
She also highlighted the crucial role of the media in society, cautioning that misuse of power by the media will led to corruption. Earlier, the programme, the began with an invocation by assistant professor Dr. Benchilo Odyuo, welcome speech by college managing board PucakhuSema and vote of thanks by college principal Dr T Limanochet Jamir.
