CNCCI expressed eagerness to collaborate with the newly elected ULB members for the development and progress of towns and cities. CNCCI appealed to the chief minister to address their longstanding demands through proper procedural and democratic channels. They highlighted that the business community in Nagaland has silently borne injustices at various levels and deserves a voice in the decision-making processes of ULBs. Empowering all sections of society, including the business community, is seen as a fundamental principle of ULBs.
CNCCI underscored that a positive response from the government to their demands would set a pioneering example in empowering the business community and leave a positive legacy in the annals of India’s business community. It is expected that such initiatives would also promote a conducive business environment both locally and beyond.
