Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) led by its chairperson extended heartfelt congratulations to all the women who have triumphed in the recent Urban Local Body (ULB) elections in Nagaland.

In a press note, NSCW said it was truly inspiring to witness 83 women securing their positions through the 33% reservation and an additional eight women succeeding through the general category.
“Your success is a testament to your dedication, determination, commitment and the unwavering support of your communities,” NSCW said.

The commission said this significant achievement not just highlighted their individual capabilities, but also marks a progressive step towards greater gender equality and representation in governance.
NSCW wished that their tenure be filled with impactful contributions and positive changes that benefit all and in serving the communities with excellence and integrity.
