NBCC Youth dept calls for ‘Youth Prayer and Sunday’

In a unified effort to experiencing God Together, the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) Youth Department has called upon all Churches under NBCC, especially the Youth Departments, to observe NBCC “Youth Prayer and Sunday” from July 5 to 7.


A press release by NBCC Youth department stated that the significant initiative was made on July 4, 1984 and has since evolved into annual prayer event where young people come together and pray for NBCC ministry and get involved in morning worship service and other activities celebrating the Youth Ministry of NBCC.


In this regard, the Office has requested all member Churches to follow the tentative schedule of July 5, Friday evening or any other convenient day, to organize Social work in the church compound, July 6 Saturday, 6 AM -12 Noon to organize Youth Prayer and Fasting, Sports and Scripture Engagement Fellowship to be organized by inviting young people to play ground in the evening, and July 7 Sunday, to organize Youth Sunday Worship.


As the churches prepare for these days to unfold, the release added that Youth Secretary, NBCC, Rev. N. Suhuto Chishi, has urged all Youth Secretaries to disseminate the information to all youth leaders of the local Church, including prayer points, the sermon and the worship outline which has been prepared and dispatched for proper implementation.
