The 1st phase social audit district level public hearing under MGNREGA and PMAY-G for Kohima and Tseminyu districts of Chiephobozou and Chunlikha Blocks was held on July 2 at DPDB Conference hall, Kohima. Project director cum DPC, DRDA, Kohima Kevilhoubei-ii, was the chairperson for the hearing.
According to a DIPR report, NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland, director Imtitoshi I Jamir gave the introduction on Social Audit. He mentioned that the implementation of the scheme should have transparency and accountability, while Social Audit findings were presented by DRP, Imsusenla Longchar, and BRP of NSSAA, SAU, Nagaland, Keneiseii Sopfii. Twenty-five villages from the two blocks were audited.
The Programme concluded with reading out village wise Gram Sabha resolution and vote of thanks by the chairperson.
