LMFN fetes newly elected members of ULB

Linguistic minority Forum of Nagaland (LMFN) applauded all the elected representatives of the recently conducted ULB election in the urban areas and townships of Nagaland. Linguistic minority Forum of Nagaland, Press & Media incharge, Anand Gurung in a press statement stated LMFN chairman Bishnu Bhattacharjee extended heartiest congratulations to HukhetoYepthomi, newly elected Chairman of Dimapur Municipal Council and also to Imlinaro Stephanie Ezung for being elected as Deputy Chairman of DMC.


LMFN expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and NDPP for issuing its party ticket to two minority women candidates, Priyadarshini Rana from Ward 12 of KMC and Krishna Mech from East Dimapur Ward number 10 respectively.


LMFN president appealed Chief Minister of Nagaland, elected members of ULB and the government authority to kindly consider the coexistence of non-Naga Minorities in urban areas who are settled prior to statehood and include non-Naga linguistic minority leaders as Government nominee to contribute ideas, knowledge and experience to bring all-round development.
