“Workshop on Tikhir vernacular literature and morphology” organised by Tikhir Literature Board was held on Saturday at DUDA Guest House, Kohima.
Executive Secretary, TBBA and Team leader of the TTT, Evangel Bible Translators Rev. M Shiuto, spoke on the topic “Tikhir vernacular alphabets and phonemes’ while TTT Evangel Bible Translators, back translator, Dr. Daniel Tikhir, spoke on the topic “Tikhir vernacular literature and morphology “ and TTT Evangel Bible Translators, translator, W. Khiantsu spoke on the topic “Shortage of Tikhir vocabulary and coining of foreign words in Bible translation “. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by TLB chairman, Kiusumong Tikhir.
