ANGSDDTA say no to NPSC exam

All Nagaland Government Service Directorate & District Typist Association (ANGSDDTA) has urged Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) not to impose the Speed Test Exams slated to be held on September 23.
ANGSDDTA in its general meeting held on August 20 has resolved not to appear the exams and has asked its members not to sit for the exams considering that around 1000 typists mostly women are married with kids and should not impose Speed Test Exams on them.
In a representation addressed to secretary NPSC, signed by Akangla, president ANDDTA stated that All Nagaland Government Service Directorate & District Typist Association had submitted a memorandum to the government in 2007 requesting the government to grant promotion to the typists on the basis of seniority-cum -merit (sincerity) but not through NPSC exams.
The association further cited the reasons that like any other services under the state government, the typists have qualified in an interview conducted by a board duly constituted by the state government at the entry point.
The association also requested the authority not to impose the Speed Test Exams to any members of ANGDDTA in future adding it would create unpleasant situation.
