Sevonyi Keyho and Vezota Rhakho were unanimously elected as the chairman and deputy chairperson of Chozuba Town Council (CTC) at the formation of the Town Council program held at the ADC Office Chozuba on July 10.
During the ceremony, NDPP took stock of the situation and submitted their claim of majority to form the council with seven candidates to ADC. A press release from ULB Chozuba media team informed that Sevonyi in his speech appealed to all the stakeholders of Chozuba Town for their cooperation and support for the development of the community and also acknowledged advisor CAWD and Taxes Kudecho Khamo for his concern and support for the upliftment of the town.
Earlier, the program was chaired by ADC Chozuba, Dr. Diana Patton and Deputy Commissioner John Tsulise Sangtam, who delivered the introductory speech and conducted the election of the chairman and deputy chairman as per the formality.
