3 cadres killed in separate incidents

A total of three persons belonging to different Naga underground factions were killed in the past 24 hours in two separate incidents.
Two suspected activists belonging to ‘GPRN/NSCN’ who were reportedly abducted from Punglwa while travelling in a Tata Sumo were found shot dead Wednesday at around 3:30 pm between Heningkunglwa and Kiyevi village some 15 km away from Jalukie Police Station. Referring to the statement of the villagers, Police said the duo left Zhuyikhu village at around 8:30 am Wednesday. Police later identified the two bodies as that of Khatoi Swu son of late Hekhezu and Viyito Achumi son of late Hokishe both from Zhuyikhu village where the former’s head was “completely smashed/ridden” with bullet while the later bore 3 bullet injuries on the temple. 
Meanwhile, Police Wednesday at around 3 pm recovered a dead body at VFA ground, Medziphema town. Identifying the victim as one Nikheto son of Hezhekhu of Zhevikhe village, Police said that the body bore three bullet injuries and suspected him to be a member of the NNC (Non-Accordist).
