AKM informs on tuition fees structures

Ao Student’s Conference (AKM) has informed on the tuition fees structures for Mokokchung district. A press statement by AKM president, Lanutoshi Aier and education secretary Lanulemba Longchar informed that the charges for home tuition from classes from A to 7 is Rs. 2000 per student, classes 8 to 10, Rs. 2500 per student, classes 11 and 12, Rs. 3000 per student.

They also informed that the maximum intake of students for a specific session should be 4 students and that the third and fourth students would be charged only 50% of the fee, like, first person- Rs. 2000, second person- Rs. 2000, third person- Rs. 1000 and fourth person- Rs. 1000.


AKM has also informed on normal tuition monthly fees: Classes A to 7 would be Rs. 700- per student, classes 8 to 10, Rs. 1000- per student, classes 11 and above, Rs. 1300-per student. The minimum hours of every tuition for a student should be 8 hours a week, maximum intake of students for a specific period/session should be 8 students.
