State chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended warm greetings to the members of the Ao community on the occasion of Tsungremmong. In a post on X, Rio said Tsungremmong, a pre-harvest festival of thanksgiving, seeks God’s blessings for a bountiful harvest. The chief minister prayed that the festivities be filled with happiness and lasting memories.
In his message, Patton also said that Tsungrenmong festival was celebrated through merrymaking and feasting. Patton hoped that the festival was celebrated with joy and happiness.
