Drawing attention to the press statement issued by the Isak-led NSCN (K) for collection of taxes in Mokokchung district which was published on August 7, 2024, the Ao Senden on Saturday declared that such “legitimate collections or taxes” will not be allowed from any person or business community etc.
In a statement, Ao Senden President Marsanen Imsong and general secretary Imtipokyim have also advised the Isak-led NSCN(K) “not to indulge in any sort of tax collection in Mokokchung district.”
