The Western Chakhesang Hoho held its official handing and taking over ceremony on Saturday at the Western Chakhesang Hoho building in Chakhesang Colony, Dimapur, following the 56th General Session on August 7. The new team will serve a tenure from 2024 to 2027.
The new team will be led by Dr. Chisoi Khesoh as president, with Pretso Therie and Yietshulhi Ngatsi as joint vice presidents, while Keve Nuh has been elected as general secretary and Lhikhro Kreo as press secretary, among other positions.
The ceremony also included the nomination and approval of various committees, including Advisory Board members with Besesayo Kezo as Convenor, while Zashekhoyi Ringa and Ruyopoyi Nyekha were appointed as Representatives to the Chakhesang Public Organisation. Outgoing President Kepfhelhou Koza handed over all necessary official documents upon completing his tenure. Dr. Timothy Lasuh, Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church, Dimapur Town, invoked God’s blessings for the new team.
