ENPO-MHA team deliberate on FNT status

The Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO), led by the new team of office bearers, held an introductory meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) committee, headed by AK Mishra, on Tuesday at BSF campus in Patgaon, Azara, Guwahati.


During the meeting, both sides deliberated on the status of the ‘Frontier Nagaland Territory’ (FNT) and discussed a way forward action plan, ENPO media cell stated in a press note. It was learned that Mishra also addressed and clarified all existing confusions regarding FNT issue.


Others who attended the meeting include presidents of various tribal bodies, frontal organizations (ENGOA, ENSF and ENWO), representatives from ENLU, and former ENPO office bearers led by Tsapikiu Sangtam, Nyeiang Konyak, and Manlang Angto.
