ANPSA Wokha holds Inter-School Quartet Competition

In commemoration with the NBSE Golden Jubilee, All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Wokha Unit, organised an Inter-School Quartet Competition at DBHSS Youth Centre, Wokha on Friday.


In the competition, Isaiah Ability Higher Secondary School emerged as winner and will now represent the district at the state-level Inter-School Quartet Singing Competition, to be held in Kohima during Golden Jubilee celebration.


A total of eleven schools participated in the competition. The second place was bagged by Cistus School Wokha and Santsuo Memorial School in third place. Judge and proprietor of Bravo Music Academy, David Ngullie appreciated to all the schools that participated and said that participation has increased as compared to last year.


Mhalo C. Kikon, judge and CNY director of Tchuphyangza Baptist Church, also shared her appreciation for the participants. The programme was chaired by Wonjano Khuvung, headmistress Fernbrook School and invocation by Zuchano, Assistant Teacher, Santsuo School.


Welcome address was delivered by Rev Dr T.C. Joseph, principal of DBHSS, vote of thanks by Mhao Murry, administrator of SMBHS, and the benediction by Tumchobeni Kikon, Assistant Teacher, Isaiah Ability Higher Secondary School.
