A four-day training for CRP-EP on business planning and food product packaging initiated by District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) Mokokchung was held from August 26 to 29.
The training was conducted by DAY-NSRLM, DRDA Mokokchung as a part of the Annual Action plan for the financial year 2024-2025.
The resource persons were District Functional Specialist (DFS), Takalemba Jamir and Temsurenla AC both from NSRLM District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) Mokokchung.
Takalemba Jamir emphasized the significance of food safety, strict packaging quality, and safety measures.
He also discussed proper food labeling, various logos for non-vegetarian and vegetarian products, and the overall branding of SHG products, including women-centric branding and storytelling. Altogether 70 participants attended the training.
