Naga National Council (NNC) of Lotha Region (NNC Parent Body under Yillow Humtsoe) and Naga National Council under ‘gen.’ (Retd) Thinoselie M Keyho have unanimously decided to jointly work under one umbrella for the Naga political issue.
The decision was taken at the meeting held on September 4 at Tourist Lodge, Wokha.
At the meeting, it was resolved that the group would jointly work together for the Naga political issue and their efforts will be guided by the principles of the 1929 Simon Commission; May 16, 1951 Naga plebiscite and August 14, 1947 Naga independence declaration for Naga sovereignty.
The group has therefore appealed to those groups, who “stands for sovereignty to join for the cause of Naga National Rights”.
