Nagaland govt convenes consultative meeting on Naga political issue on Sep 12

The State Home department has convened a consultative meeting on September 12 at 10 a.m. at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima to deliberate on the Naga political issue.

According to DIPR, the meeting will be attended by chief minister, deputy CMs, NLA Speaker, deputy Speaker, all ministers, Members of Parliament, all advisors and legislators, chief secretary, along with other senior officials of the state government.

Further, the government has requested the presidents of the following organizations to attend the meeting with two representatives each– Central Nagaland Tribes Council, Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization, Tenyimi Union Nagaland, Angami Public Organization, Angamimiapfü Mechü Krotho, Ao Senden, Watsü Mundang, Chakhesang Public Organisation, Chakhesang Women Organisation, Chang Khulei Setsang, Changsao Thangjam Setshang, Konyak Union, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong, Khiamniungan Tribal Council, Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam, Lotha Hoho, Lotha Eloe Hoho, Phom Peoples’ Council, Phomla Hoichem.

Pochury Hoho, Pochury Mothers’ Association, Rengma Hoho, Rengma Mothers’ Association, Sumi Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho, United Sangtam Likhum Pumji, Akehda Sangtamlarü Thsingmajang, Tikhir Tribal Council, Kuisam, Tikhir Women Organisation/bodies, Yimkhiung Tribal Council,
