Nagaland: NHM officials visit DMMDH Wokha

State officials from National Health Mission (NHM), Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Nagaland, Kohima led by NHM mission director, Dr. Akuo Sorhie, made a monitoring visit to Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital (DMMDH) Wokha on September 20.

During the monitoring visit, a brief meeting was held with the staffs of DMMDH Wokha. DMMDH Wokha, medical superintendent, Dr. N. Mhonchan Kithan, briefed the officials on the functioning of the hospital.

Dr. Akuo Sorhie encouraged the staffs to provide quality health services to the community. The state officials visited the pediatric ward, ICU Ward, Jan Anushadi Store, ART, blood storage unit, laboratory and held interaction with the staffs.

The state official monitoring team included SPO (NHM), Dr. Merenenla Senlem, SPO (NTLP), Dr.Vezokholuo Theyo, deputy director (NHM), Dr. Manyau Phom, deputy director (NHM), Dr. Kheshika Yepthomi, and officials from NHM.
