As part of the State Presidential Mandal Tour for “Sadasyata Abhiyan” – Membership Drive, state BJP president, Benjamin Yepthomi along with his team, toured all the 20 Assembly Constituencies of Eastern Nagaland from September 4 to 24, 2024.
The tour culminated at 59 A/C Seyochung/Sitimi. According to media officer and convenor, State Media Cell,BJP Nagaland, during the tour, Benjamin expounded on the importance of strengthening the organisational structures of the party at the grassroots and also impressed upon the party karyakartas to ensure maximum participation during the ongoing membership drive.
Benjamin also completed one year of office as state BJP president on September 25, and during the period, he has toured all the districts of Nagaland.
On September 23, he visited 60 A/C Pungro/Kiphire Assembly Constituency, where forer deputy speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly and RPI candidate for 2023 general election, Yangseo Sangtam from 60 A/C Pungro/Kiphire had officially merged with the BJP with his supporters at a program held at Kiphire Town.
