Nagaland: DMC holds mass cleanliness drive

In an effort to enhance cleanliness and sanitation, all 23 wards under Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) participated in a mass cleanliness drive on September 28, as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, under the Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0.

The drive commenced from 6 a.m., drawing active participation from ward councillors, colony chairmen, GBs, youth organizations, and various NGOs. Local residents, business establishments, and traders also joined in the initiative, taking responsibility for cleaning their respective wards and business areas, contributing significantly to the success of the campaign, DIPR report stated.
