As per power department’s declaration of May and October as “vegetation clearance months”, the transmission division, Dimapur would be carrying out vegetation clearance from October 4-30, 2024 on several lines/sub-stations.
In a press release, executive engineer transmission division Dimapur informed that during vegetation clearance, which would be carried out along 66kV D/C Nagarjan to Zoological Park transmission line on Oct 4-5 from 6-9am, areas under Ganeshnagar, Sovima, Chümoukedima & Jalukie Sub-station would be affected; 33kV AP-1(Kma-I) transmission line on Oct 7 from 9am to 2pm and areas under Medziphema Sub-station would be affected; 132kV Dimapur-Kohima T/L Oct 16-18 from 9am to 3pm and areas under Kohima Load Center (OCC Approved Shutdown); 66kV Ganeshnagar T/L Oct 21-22 from 9am to 2pm and areas under Ganeshnagar & Jalukie Sub-station to be affected; 66kV Dairy Farm to Nito Farm Oct 24 from 9am to 1pm and 33kV Ganeshnagar to Jalukie Oct 29-30 from 9am to 2pm areas under Jalukie Sub-station.
