Nagaland: NPP 7th Chizami A/C welcomes road upgradation

NPP 17th Chizami A/C has appreciated the state government for approving and sanctioning the long-awaited road upgradation of Pfutsero to Chillo via Razeba, the lifeline of Zhavame, Razeba, Zelome, Tsüpfüme, and neighbouring villages in Manipur.


In a press release, the party unit president, Tho-O Domeh and general secretary, Vihoto Wozah appreciated chief minister Neiphiu Rio, for prioritizing the needs of the people and understanding their sufferings.


The party unit also expressed gratitude to minster of Power and Parliamentary Affairs, K.G Kenye, and the elected representative, for their personal intervention. They also landed minister PWD (R&B) Kaito Aye for his steadfast support, and the department of PWD (R&B) Nagaland and the ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India.


Mentioning that the road will significantly improve interstate connectivity, and will stimulate local economic growth, enhance health, education, and tourism, the party unit has appealed to the land owners and residents of Razeba area to provide their wholehearted support and cooperation, in achieving the shared vision into a reality.

Assuring full support and cooperation, the party unit has also urged the implementing agency to ensure timely commencement, completion, and delivery of a “top-notch road” and cautioned that it will not tolerate any compromises that may jeopardize the project’s quality or hinder its progress.
