The US-based International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) has selected dentist-turned-police officer Dr Pritpal Kaur as a 2024 IACP 40 Under 40 awardee.
Belonging to the 2016 batch of IPS, Kaur had earlier also worked as the first SP of Noklak and was commended for starting free coaching classes for UPSC aspirants and other departmental exams. She was especially commended for providing opportunities and training to locals in the areas she had served.
The IACP’s annual award globally honours 40 law enforcement professionals under 40 years who showcase leadership, dedication to their profession, and make a positive impact on their agencies, communities, and the policing field.
