NSCN (I-M) Sumi Region has appealed to the government of India to expedite the “historic agreement” signed on August 3, 2015 and implement the Framework Agreement at the earliest.

In a press release, secretary NSCN (I-M) Sumi Region informed that they have unanimously reaffirmed their support at the Sumi Region “national workers meeting cum caretaker CAO induction programme” held on October 5, 2024 in Zunheboto.

At the meeting, the members appreciated the wisdom of prime minister, Narendra Modi, late Isak Chishi Swu and Th.Muivah under whose leadership the historic Framework Agreement was signed.

Affirming that Framework Agreement was the only honorable and respectable solution for the Indo-Naga issue, the national workers under Sumi Region urged the government of India and representatives to not shy away from the historic agreement but to implement at the earliest. They further prayed that good wisdom and better health be granted upon the leaders.
