Nagaland Governor takes part in e-inauguration of road

Nagaland governor, La Ganesan visited the BRTF Dimapur Camp and took part in the e-inauguration of Kohima-Pedi-Peren road by union defence minister, Rajnath Singh on October 12.


According to PRO Raj Bhavan, the governor said he was honored to be part of the momentous occasion, to witness the e-inauguration of 75 vital infrastructure projects undertaken by the Border Roads Organization across the country including Nagaland.
He said those endeavors were a testament to the commitment to strengthening the backbone of the nation’s defense and enhancing connectivity.


Ganesan thanked the Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, for leading the initiative and to all the officials of the BRTF for the successful completion of the Kohima-Pedi-Peren Road. The governor said those roads and bridges not only support strategic operations but also foster local commerce, benefitting the communities by fostering improved connectivity.


On visiting various infrastructures within the BRTF Camp, from family quarters to the dental unit and auditorium, he said each facility reflects the excellence and dedication of the workforce, ensuring the personnel and their families were well supported.


The Governor further appreciated the Border Roads Task Force for their commitment to the welfare of their employees. He urged everyone present to continue striving for excellence, to work with dedication, and to maintain the spirit of unity and hard work.
