Youth Red Cross Mount Tiyi College unit Wokha in collaboration with Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha conducted awareness camp on blood grouping and first aid training at conference hall DMMDH, Wokha on October 28.
On the occasion, Dr. Nzanthung Lotha MD Pathologist DMMDH Wokha highlighted about the function of blood in our body, different types of blood groups, who are eligible for the donating blood.
Dr. N Mhonchan Kithan Medical Superintendent of Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital, Wokha highlighted on Hypertension, its causes, symptoms and complication of hypertension.
He advised to do regular check-up of blood pressure, maintain ideal body weight and get treatment. Blood grouping was done for the Youth Red Cross MTC unit at the pathology labroratory DMMDH, Wokha.
The programme was chaired by Oliv L Ayemi officer incharge Youth Red Cross MTC unit and vote of thanks by Dr. K Zumomo Ovung vice principal Mount Tiyi College Wokha.
