As part of Youth Fest 2024-25, District AIDs Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) Mon under the aegis of Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) organised a district level red ribbon quiz competition at CMO conference hall, Mon on November 8.
Five schools with two members each from St John’s Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School-C, Government Higher Secondary School-A, Konjong Higher Secondary and Government Higher Secondary School-D participated in the competition.
The quiz was centred on HIV and AIDS-related topics, where the participants underwent four rounds. The quiz was moderated by Leeyan Chemshy, Media Officer, NHM along with Loshon, Tuberculosis Supervisor, District Hospital Mon and M.C.Manchen, Counsellor cum DEO FIART DH, Mon. The results were announced by Dr Supongmenla Walling CMO Mon, who also awarded the winners with a certificate and a cash prize.
Konjong Higher Secondary School–Esther W Konyak and Chingkam T bagged the first position ; Government Higher Secondary School (C)- Longpa M Konyak and Nonlih C Konyak in second position and Government Higher Secondary School (D)— A Pumen Konyak and Choshon N in third position.
