Brig. (retd) S. Singnya led NNC/FGN has expressed gratitude to the top leaders of WC/NNPGs for their upright decision to appoint P. Puthai Lam, ‘kilo kilonser’ as the new official co-convener to represent NNC/FGN to WC/NNPGs, in place of Zhopra Vero following his impeachment on October 22, 2024 and non-inclusion of Zhopra led splinter group under the banner of WC/NNPGs.
In a press statement FGN ministry of Rali Wali Affairs, claimed that the WC/NNPGs resolution on October 30, 2024 was a clear indication that Zhopra Vero led was s “self-styled” group with no political future for the Nagas and no legal entity to drive monetary funds through taxes/donations/contributions.
Instead, FGN claimed that the splinter group was trying to tarnish the good image of Brig. (retd) S. Singnya led NNC/FGN by hiding behind the “curtain and collecting taxes by way of intimidation to taxpayers” in the name of NNC/FGN government.
NNC/FGN therefore appealed to the taxpayers and Naga people to not be confused and cautioned that any financial transactions made to the splinter group without the knowledge of NNC/FGN will be doing at their own risk.
