Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission showcases honey products at Kisama

Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) has set up a honey pavilion “Honey Hub” at the 25th Edition of Hornbill Festival at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, Kohima.


At the stall, Viswema Village Beekeeping Committee, Khonoma Basa Vandhan Vikas Kendra, Honey entrepreneurs from Tseminyu district under the banner Chwida Rocky Mountain Honey and Mima Honey have been showcasing their produce and for sale, including various products and handicrafts.


According to DIPR report, NBHM’s stall has three different types of Honey, the Apis Cerana honey, Rock bee or wild honey and Stingless honey along with honey by-products such as lip balms and massage balms.

The idea behind NBHM’s stall is purely for advertisement and promotion. The pavilion also includes Honey beverages and confectionery with different snacks and beverages which are catered to the visitors of the Honey Hub.
