State Art and Culture (A&C) department has extended gratitude and appreciation to all 18 cultural troupes from across the districts of Nagaland for their vibrant and captivating performances at the Hornbill Festival 2024.
According to DIPR report, the department has appreciated their dedication in showcasing rich culture and traditions of the Naga had been instrumental in the success of this year’s festival.
The department also thanked the two host village organizations, Phesama Village Students’ Union and Kigwema Village Students’ Union, for their warm hospitality and invaluable support in providing accommodation and catering services to the cultural troupes ensuring that the care and warmth provided brought out the best in their performances.
Further, the department appreciated to the officers and staff of the department of art and culture. It said that their commitment, sincerity and teamwork in carrying out their assigned duties were integral to the seamless execution of the daily cultural programme and other festival related activities. The department has also acknowledged the services rendered by the Comperes.
