Chetheba Town Students’ Union holds 35th general session

Chetheba Town Students’ Union (CTSU) celebrated its 35th general session at Chetheba Town Hall under the theme “Redefining Success: Growth Beyond Grades” on December 23.


CTSU informed that the session was graced by Vahine Thisa, Principal Director of Treasuries & Accounts as guest speaker. In her address, Thisa highlighted the importance of discipline, planning, and time management in achieving success.

She urged students to make studying a daily habit and to rely on God as their foundation. “Give God the priority, and He will guide your path,” she said.

She emphasized the importance of self-confidence, determination, and utilizing technology effectively to achieve goals. Stressing the significance of hard work, she said, “There is no substitute for effort. Accept failures and learn from them, as God has a plan for you.”

Delivering presidential address. Sekhozo Rhakho CTSU president, encouraged the students to pursue their career with humility, good character, and a commitment to society’s development.

Recognizing the contributions of CTSU’s pioneers, Rhakho encouraged students to uphold their cultural values and traditions while striving for personal and collective progress. He emphasized the importance of dreaming big and nurturing overall development beyond academics.


Vedechiyi Rokha, a Horticulture Inspector, shared his journey of clearing the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) exams. The event witnessed participation from students, community leaders, and dignitaries, focusing on holistic growth, discipline, and societal contributions.
