Chümoukedima Watsu Telen (CWT) has condemned the extortion demand of Rs. 50 lakh on Aolemba Lkr by cadres of NSCN (Khango) on December 16.
In a condemnation note, CWT said the “unethical act of intimidation” was not only a personal violation of Aolemba’s right, but was a direct attack on the dignity and safety of the Naga public in general.
CWT expressed firm opposition to the incident and affirmed that it would continue to work alongside the law enforcement agencies and other relevant organizations until justice is served.
