Moderate earthquake jolts NE states

A moderate earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale jolted several North Eastern states including parts of Nagaland on Friday morning.

According to National Center for Seismology (NCS), the epicenter was located in Myanmar at a depth of 127 km, with coordinates at Latitude 24.92 N and Longitude 94.97 E. The quake struck at 10:02 am. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage to properties.
