Deputy chief minister, Y Patton has condoled the demise of Yanrenthung Shitiri IPS retired on January 2, 2025.
In a condolence note, Patton described late. Yanrenthung as a man of integrity, with whom he had the privilege to study together in Shillong and later worked together in the same department.
Patton said the demise of Yanrenthung was a great personal loss and also for the community. The deputy chief minister, on behalf of his family and department, conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.
