IMD forecast dense fog, light rain in NE

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog in the North Eastern states, including Nagaland up to January 16 and light moderate rainfall in some parts of the region.
According to IMD’s daily bulletin, dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail during the night/early morning hours in isolated pockets of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during January 13-16.
Further, IMD said that light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Meghalaya on January 13.
