FNT issue: ENPO seeks clarity from MHA

Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) through its media cell said since the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) was a creation of the government of India, the ministry of home affairs (MHA) should table the clarity of its stance in resolving the historical and political aspirations of the Eastern Nagas without further delay.
Media Cell disclosed that eight tribal bodies of ENPO have “warned” ENPO delegations for the January 15 tripartite meeting, not to accept any solution below executive, legislative and financial autonomy. It also appealed to all Eastern Nagas that FNT be pursued and anticipated democratically. Further ENPO also discouraged formation of the Eastern Naga Unemployed Youth Front.
