JJM successfully implemented at Losolo village

Losolo Village, located in Shamator District, has successfully implemented the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Scheme, significantly improving access to safe and sufficient water supply for residents. The scheme, which was inaugurated on January 20, 2022, has transformed daily life in the village, addressing long-standing issues of water scarcity.
According to a DIPR report, the successful implementation of JJM has provided villagers with continuous and sufficient water supply, alleviating previous challenges related to water shortages. The availability of clean water has led to remarkable improvements, making Losolo greener and cleaner, while contributing to enhanced hygiene and sanitation practices.
Local officials and community members have expressed satisfaction with the JJM project, noting that it has brought substantial benefits to the village, positively influencing livelihoods, agricultural activities, and overall well-being.
To assess the implementation and progress of the scheme, EAC Shamator, Kudazo Swuro, along with SDO (PHED), Er. Imnaningsang Longchar, visited Losolo Village on May 16, 2025.
The officials inspected various aspects of the water supply system and interacted with the villagers to understand their experiences and the impact of the initiative.
