Rubber Board, Regional Office Dimapur, in collaboration with the National Institute of Rubber Training (NIRT) Kottayam and Nzhu Rubber Producers Society, Wokha, conducted an eight-day Gender Budgeting Pro-Women Latex Harvest Technician training from January 20 to 28 at Phiro village, Wohuro block, Wokha.
The training was inaugurated on January 20 by president, Nzhu Rubber Producers Society, Benrilo Lotha. The theory session was conducted by Assistant Development Officer, Nabajyoti Baruah, while the practical session was led by Rubber Tapping Demonstrator at the Rubber Board Regional Office, Dimapur, Monoj Pait.
On the final day, Development Officer, Kuruvilla Cherian, conducted the assessment. Upon successful completion, the trainees were awarded certificates and a job role kit. Fifteen educated unemployed female candidates attended the training program and successfully completed the training.
