Assam Rifles organise various activities across Nagaland

Assam Rifles as part of its civic action programme carried out various activities across the state.

KOHIMA: To mark the 76th Republic Day, AR organized a 75-kilometer bike rally on January 25, 2025. The rally started from the Assam Rifles Helipad in Kohima and concluded at the Dimapur Sector, with the Deputy Inspector General (Medical) IGAR North flagging it off.


The rally saw enthusiastic participation from 75 personnel representing AR, Central Reserve Police Force, and Border Security Force, along with 20 civilians from local biking clubs like KK Motors, AXOR Club, and the Royal Tribal Motorcycle Club from Kohima.


At Dimapur Sector of Assam Rifles, senior officials welcomed the riders and praised their spirit and dedication, emphasizing the importance of such events in promoting national pride and unity. The event concluded with a flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing collective patriotism.


KIPHIRE: The National Integration Tour organized by AR culminated with a grand flagging-in ceremony at Kiphire, on January 22, 2025. The 12-day journey, which began on January 11, 2025, aimed to foster national unity and offer students a broader understanding of India’s diverse heritage, culture, and democratic values.


The tour included 20 students and two teachers from Zisaji Presidency College, who travelled across India, visiting significant historical, cultural, and educational sites. A highlight was their interaction with the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
DAN &PANGSHA VILLAGE: As part of its efforts to strengthen community ties, Assam Rifles organized a medical camp on January 24, 2025 at ITC Dan.


The initiative provided crucial medical assistance to villagers from Dan and Pangsha village. A total of 115 patients from India and Myanmar received medical treatment.


NOKLAK: Assam Rifles conducted an engaging lecture on National Voter’s Day at Noklak, emphasizing the importance of active participation in democracy. The program was attended by over 50 children and soldiers, where the session highlighted the role of voting in shaping the nation’s future and encouraged responsible citizenship.


The initiative aimed to raise awareness among the younger generation and reaffirm the commitment of soldiers to democratic values.
