The Working Committee of Naga National Political Groups (WC/NNPGs) has appointed ‘gen.’ (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak, president of GPRN/NSCN (U) as convener of WC/NNPGs. This was among several resolutions adopted during the meeting of the group on Thursday.
It was also learnt that NSCN (R) ato kilonser P Tikhak and NSCN/GPRN (K) ato kilonser ‘col.’ (Retd) Isak Sumi have been appointed as working conveners of WC/NNPGs. It was decided that three officials will hold responsibilities for an initial period of three years until further review.
