MSME organises workshop for entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP), supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), conducted workshop titled “Driving Business Growth: Leveraging MSME Support and Effective Operations Management for Success,” at E-Space, Dimapur on February 5.


The workshop brought together local entrepreneurs, business owners, and industry experts, offering a collaborative forum to explore practical strategies for sustainable growth and efficient business management.


Delivering welcome address, Lezo Putsure, founder of Educentre, stressed the importance of aligning strategic business planning with available governmental resources. He highlighted how effective operations management, paired with MSME support programs, can significantly enhance a company’s potential to thrive in today’s competitive market.


Gaurav Saini, assistant director of MSME, offered an in-depth overview of current support programs, subsidies, and financial assistance opportunities designed to help businesses expand while Keyelu of the Department of Industries & Commerce, elaborated on the range of government policies and incentives available to foster entrepreneurial success.


Abhishek Mishra, Additional Director & OIC at STPI Kohima, discussed the various funding options and tech-based solutions under the STPI OCTANE initiative, underscoring the significant role of innovation in driving business progress.

B. Debnath, Branch Manager of SBI SME at Old Market Branch, provided valuable information on banking solutions, MSME loan schemes, and other financial instruments tailored for startups and small businesses.
