GPRN/NSCN holds 3rd phase oath taking ceremony

GPRN/NSCN led by N Kitovi Zhimomi on Thursday conducted its third phase oath taking ceremony, in which a total of 57 new members comprising of kilonsers/deputy kilonsers and tatars were inducted.


In a press release, National Tatar Hoho (NTH) secretary Nzanthung Lotha informed that oath taking was administered by NTH speaker Ebibemo Lotha. Speaking at the programme, ato kilonser N. Kitovi Zhimomi highlighted the present political scenario. He stressed on the importance of “Agreed Position” and its impact on the future younger generation in the society. Zhimomi also urged all the members to stay true to the Naga cause and to the people.


GPRN/NSCN president RM Lotha and deputy ato kilonser Jungshiwati also encouraged all the oath takers to have a strong moral character and determination towards the Naga political issue and its early solution.


Delivering welcome address, kilo affairs kilonser Hukavi Yepthomi, welcomed all the newly inducted members. Reading out party discipline, Jimmy Lotha i/c NTH urged all the members to uphold and follow the Yehzabo diligently. MRA Kilonser Hokiye L. Awomi prayed for the new members.


The programme was chaired by GPRN/NSCN chief secretary Achumthung Lotha while assistant chaplain Apong offered invocation. The programme concluded with mass benediction.
