Career Guidance and Placement Cell, Phek Government (PGC) organised employment linked career guidance programme on Aviation and Hospitality and Cruise line sector in India and Overseas on February 12, at the college campus.
A press release by PGC stated that the programme was in collaboration with Eagle Crest Training Academy and Consultancy (ECTAC), Dimapur, with Hospitality Trainer-cum-Business Development Executive, Imsumeren, as the resource person.
Imsumeren spoke briefly on ECTAC, which is a training and consultancy institute, registered under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, National Skills Development Corporation, Skill India Institutional, Government of India for Aviation, Hospitality and Cruiseline Sector.
He also delivered an elaborate and comprehensive detail on Aviation, Hospitality and Cruiseline Sector, and also highlighted on the eligibility criteria, training process, placement opportunities, campus recruitment, salary package, and Skill Loan Scheme that can be availed by the students.
A Q&A session was also held with regards to course duration, fee structure and placements, and ECTAC and Phek Government College signed a MoU for 5 years which will help foster future collaborations under which, ECTAC would help train students of the college with internship opportunities.
