The Department of School Education (DoSE) has put its recent teacher rationalization order on hold until further notice, following strong opposition from various student bodies and stakeholders.
In a notification dated February 17, principal director of DoSE, Thavaseelan K has informed that the orders dated February 6, 2025 and February 10, 2025 have been kept on hold pending review.
The move comes after protests from student organizations, which strongly opposed the transfer and posting of teachers across Nagaland.
