Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) at emergency meeting on February 26, at its head office conference Hall, Kohima, has unanimously resolved to stand for one “One Government, One Tax”.
NCSU also informed that in case of any NCSU bonafide member faces hardship or undesirable circumstances over taxation or demand from any quarter, then the matter should promptly report matter to NCSU Head office.
The meeting was attended by office bearers of NCSU Head office, district office bearers and members of various communities. The member also resolved that any government official or Engineer possessing Class-I contractor registration with NPWD should be done away with without delay, pointing that such act was illegal and punishable as per law.
Meanwhile, NCSU has appealed to the state government to publish work programmes of each and every department for the financial year 2025-2026, and with regard to PMGSY-III (three) against 2023-24, a thorough on spot verification should be taken up by all District units of NCSU and detailed report should be submitted to NCSU Head office latest by March 13 for further necessary action.
