Department of State Taxes conducted a one-day training on GST/TDS/TCC for DDOs/ tax deductors, for Kohima-based government departments and registered contractors on March 4 at the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts conference hall.
According to DIPR report, the training was organized by the Taxes department aimed to enhance GST implementation and understanding among government departments and registered contractors.
The resource persons on the training topic “Registration, Return Filing and Payment, OMs and Notices, and Tax Clearance Certificates” were Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes, Yarenthung Yanthan, along with Commercial State Tax Officers Merenkaba and Vizayie Kar.
Earlier, the program began with the keynote and welcome address by Deputy Commissioner of State Taxes, Kohima, Vekhozo Dozo and vote of thanks by Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes, Remasangla. The program was attended by around 200 participants.
